Word of Mouth Sales is one of the very important facets of Network Marketing. The word of Mouth Sales can have two kinds of positive results:-
- The first kind of sales is where the recipient of the product uses it and is very happy about the product and they tell about it to everyone else in the neighborhood or to people who are close to them. They tell everything good about it because it is really good. Finally, at least one in ten of those people who listen to these advertisements would eventually purchase it from wherever they can find it.
- The second kind of sales is where the recipient of the product uses it and is very happy about the product, and he/she is also happy about how you sold the product to them, and they tell about the product to everyone else in the neighborhood or to people who are close to them, and they recommend the person who is interested to eventually make the purchase from you.
Word of Mouth sales is ultimately profitable to the MLM company whose products you are dealing with. Whether the end user gets it from you, or from some other affiliate or from some other marketing network of the company, the company is going to profit; however, when you are waiting to add points to your sales, there is no use for you, if someone who purchased from you advertises the product, but the recipient party gets the product from someone else. Though it is a profit to the company, you are not benefiting in any way.
In cases, where the person who makes the word of mouth sales is your down line in your MLM
(or)
If the person who is purchasing is going to make the purchase from one of your MLM down lines, you will have some indirect profit…..
But what is the use, if sale takes place, but there are no points or profit to you?

Until i read this article i had never really considered the importance and types of word of mouth sales. This gives me good information to take and use to build more sales.
